ShelfSmart ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information ShelfSmart collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Short answer: virtually nothing.
ShelfSmart is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
ShelfSmart reads your device's locale setting (e.g. en-GB, en-US) solely to display the correct currency symbol. This information is used on-device only and is never transmitted to any server.
All data you enter into ShelfSmart (product prices and quantities) exists only in your device's temporary memory while the app is open. It is not saved, stored, or backed up anywhere. When you close the app or tap Clear, the data is gone.
ShelfSmart does not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
ShelfSmart does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we collect no personal information from any user, this applies equally to all ages.
When you download ShelfSmart from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to this data. Please review the respective store's privacy policy for details:
