Leave a ReviewShelfSmart divides each product's price by its quantity to get the per-unit cost. The product with the lower per-unit cost is highlighted as the best value, and the percentage difference is shown so you know exactly how much you'll save.
You can use any unit you like—grams, kilograms, litres, millilitres, individual items, or anything else on the label. The only requirement is that both products use the same unit so the comparison is fair. For example, compare grams with grams, not grams with litres.
If the per-unit price difference between the two products is greater than 50%, ShelfSmart shows a friendly warning to double-check your numbers. This helps catch accidental typos—for instance, entering 100g instead of 1000g.
ShelfSmart automatically detects your device's locale setting and displays the appropriate currency symbol. For example, if your phone is set to en-GB you'll see £, en-US shows $, and de-DE shows €. You don't need to configure anything.
